Polypropylene Fans
Notice the "BLUE FAN BLADES" on this
KJL 2000. These special blades are constructed from polypropylene, which can handle high
rotation speeds; in this case 1,725 rpm. These blades can be adjusted for pitch angle to change the amount and velocity of air flowing over
the evaporator coils and into the cold room. They were used at an installation where the customer needed a higher than average airflow
in the facility. (Note, these blades are on the "cooling side" of the system, inside the storage facility.

Extended-Coil Design
 Refrigeration Systems
possesses the engineering technology to "adjust" a system for unique applications. This is a KJL
1500, with extended cooling coils inside the building. Please see the additional photos of this system.

Extended-Coil Design
Notice the rather "tight" area that was available for installation.
was able to meet the challenge.

Extended-Coil Design
From this angle, you can see that the cooling coil chamber has been extended out from the main structure. Warmer room air is drawn in
though this "gap," across the cooling coils and then directed back into the room with the fans. This unique design has no effect on the
efficiency of the system. and maintains easy access to the fans for future service requirements.

Fan Options
Refrigeration Systems are designed with high velocity fans capable
of thrusting cold air up to 100 feet, (30 metres) across the ceiling for maximum air circulation. Optional Air Flow Booster Attachments can be installed
on the system for reaching greater distances, ensuring proper cooling throughout your facility.
A variety of Fan Blades are available, which provide different airflows at various rpm's., depending on the application.
We assess each application to determine the appropriate air flow and the correct fan blades to deliver the proper amount of air over the
evaporator (cooling) coils.

Heating Option
Every Refrigeration System
can be equipped with a heating feature, which is necessary in certain applications. Depending on humidity
sensitivity, this can be accomplished with either an electric or hot water heating system, but this does not affect the all-in-one design.

Specialty Coils
Refrigeration Systems is able to incorporate custom materials
to better match your cooling environment needs. Acrylic Coated Evaporator Coils have been used to prevent corrosion on
the fins in potato storages, where the sanitizing process to clean the storage can corrode uncoated fins. This coating dramatically increases
the life of the aluminum fins. In fish plants where salt in the air can deteriorate the fins,
provides specially coated fins which are resistant to salt corrosion.
